In early June, participants will receive an email with a lineup number. Lineup numbers will be displayed on a wooden stake along Quentin Avenue.

Please position your entry parallel to the road so that the front of your entry is immediately behind your number. Oversized entries (e.g., fire trucks, garbage trucks, metro buses) may be directed to park at a different location.

Those participants will be contacted directly with more information as the parade approaches.

IMPORTANT – SAME STAGING AREA FOR 2026!!! While near last year’s staging area, this year’s staging area is different!! It will be located along Quentin Avenue between the Highway 13 frontage road and the old railroad bridge. Entries will be parallel-parked along both sides of Quentin Avenue.

Due to limited spacing, we ask that your entry be no longer than 40 feet in length. Some entries, due to their size and/or scope, may be assigned a specific side street by the parade committee. This assignment would be communicated directly to the affected entry.

Using Quentin Avenue: Due to anticipated construction along Highway 13 and the direction that you will be facing in the staging area (North), we suggest that you access the staging area from northbound Quentin Avenue from McColl Avenue. Please note that you must pass under a railroad bridge on this route, so if you have a tall or wide entry, please do NOT use this route.

Using Highway 13: Turn onto Quentin Avenue, which brings you immediately to the staging area. It will be necessary for you to utilize the turnaround at RMS to position yourself in the correct direction of the parade.

Using Highway 13: You can also turn onto Lynn Avenue. Then take an immediate right onto 123rd Street. Follow 123rd Street to Quentin Avenue. Staging will be on your left.

Due to very limited space in the staging area and road construction issues we ask that, if possible, you carpool your participants to downtown Savage and drop them along 123rd Street. They will need to walk a short distance to the staging area.

Due to very limited parking in the staging area and surrounding road construction, we ask that you carpool as much as possible. We will not be able to allow any extra vehicles in the lineup area unless they are actually in the parade.

Due to ongoing construction on Highway 13, we cannot guarantee that parking will be permitted in the grassy area as in prior years.

Please be sure that everyone in your party knows your lineup number. This will help alleviate some of the congestion that occurs when people stop to ask for their lineup number. We will still be there to assist with any questions you may have, but if you know your lineup number there is no need to stop by the registration area.

We are happy to have your group perform during the parade. However, in order to keep things flowing smoothly we ask that you structure your performance in such a way that it does not cause big gaps in the parade.

All parade entries must continue to move in a forward motion and are not permitted to stop during the parade to perform routines.

The parade will end at Ottawa Avenue and 128th Street. Please exit the parade using Lynn Avenue.
